Accelerate Uptown opened in June of 2019, with the support of the City of Long Beach, Living Cities, Citi fund to address economic inequity faced by minority and women owned businesses. The Business Accelerator is the first of its kind in the City of Long Beach. In the first 18 Months, Accelerate Uptown supported over 300 Entrepreneurs and up and coming Entrepreneurs through one on one business coaching, workshops, and connected them to funding and small business resources.
